Scott Porter, the voice actor behind Harry Osborn in Marvel’s Spider-Man, has confirmed in a now-deleted Instagram post that he will not be reprising his role in Insomniac Games’ highly anticipated Spider-Man 2 on PS5.
The message was captured before being deleted and can be read below:
While I voiced Harry in the first Spider-Man I unfortunately will not be in the sequel. They decided to go photo real and the difference between me and Harry’s ages was too much to overcome I believe. I was bummed but I get it. Gonna be an incredible game.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is currently in development for PS5 and is pencilled in for release at some point next year. Insomniac Games recently reiterated that the game is on track for a 2023 launch, although we haven’t really heard much beyond that.
The sequel to 2018’s web-slinging adventurer will see Peter Parker and Miles Morales teaming up to take down super baddie Venom, who is voiced by legendary horror actor Tony Todd.
While the game is not part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Insomniac hired an MCU concept artist to work on Spider-Man 2 earlier this year.
