Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 Won’t ‘Relegate Peter Parker To The Couch,’ Says Yuri Lowenthal

Insomniac Games hasn’t officially announced Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 yet, but Peter Parker voice actor Yuri Lowenthal has promised that the character ‘won’t be relegated to the couch’ in the web-slinging sequel.

Speaking with The Direct, Lownethal obviously made it clear there were “very few things” he could says about the next chapter in the Wall-Crawler’s PlayStation-exclusive adventures, but assured fans that “Peter is not gone. He will be a part of the next game and he won’t be relegated to the couch, I promise.”

We won’t spoil anything about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 here, but suffice to say the ending does have quite major implications about the roles that both Peter Parker and Miles Morales will be performing going forward. As such, it’s not surprising that Lowenthal has made these comments.

Back in October 2023, Insomniac Games’ Bryan Intihar touched base on where the series could go following the first two Spider-Man games, suggesting a third outing could be ‘pretty epic.’ That’s about all we have to go on right now, though, as the developer is busy working on Marvel’s Wolverine and therefore we likely won’t be seeing Spider-Man 3 for quite a while yet.
