Mass Effect 3 will receive a single-player demo and multiplayer beta early next year, developer BioWare has confirmed.
Writing on Twitter, the company confirmed that the teaser will drop in January 2012, though didn’t go into any further details on the subject.
Early access to the multiplayer beta will be granted via all new copies of Battlefield 3 across all major platforms. A concrete date for the demo and beta will be unveiled in November, as well as via Battlefield 3’s in-game ticker.
Owners of the DICE-developed shooter won’t be required to access the beta via a redemption code, and will instead be granted access based on the EA.com account associated with their copy of the game. Further options for accessing the beta will be confirmed in November and December.
Mass Effect 3, the epic conclusion to Commander Shepard’s long-running battle against the Reapers, will hit stores in March 2012 for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.
