BioWare has said that players won’t need to concern themselves with save files when jumping into the hotly anticipated Mass Effect 4.
Writing on Twitter, Jonathan Warner, BioWare’s Senior Producer, said that the upcoming science-fiction RPG is a great place for newcomers to start their intergalactic adventure.
@SomeStrangeFX @bioware @masseffect @GambleMike The next ME is a great place to jump into the series. No need to worry about saves.

Still, BioWare’s Mike Gamble is keeping mum on the game’s official title:

Mass Effect 4 is supposedly due out in 2016 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The game will feature a massive single-player campaign and will also contain a multiplayer component. A trailer is expected to air at E3 in June.
