Mass Effect 4 will feature emotionally-rich characters backed by ‘photorealistic’ graphics, according to a recent job listing posted by series developer, BioWare.
The listing confirms that the studio is looking for a Senior Cinematic Animator to help create “emotionally believable characters that allow game players to interact with the game, whether photorealistic or stylized, in a realistic and believable fashion.”
Given the Mass Effect series has become synonymous with hard-hitting decisions and a diverse cast of characters spanning multiple races, it’s no surprise that BioWare is looking to continue that trend for the hotly anticipated fourth instalment.
Mass Effect 4 has yet to receive a release date, though it is expected to drop for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in 2016.
Recently, it was confirmed the game will feature a multiplayer component, while the game’s single-player campaign is said to be ‘massive.’ As of this writing, we still don’t know whether Mass Effect 4 is a prequel or sequel.
