Game Informer has confirmed some of the voice talent behind the hotly anticipated Mass Effect Andromeda.
First up, Clancy Brown will be voicing Alec Ryder, who is the male protagonist featured in the game and the brother of Sara. Brown is perhaps best known for his role as Brother Justin in Carnivale, while gamers may recognise him as the voice of Hades in God of War III. Sara, meanwhile, will be voiced by Fryda Wolff, who has previously voiced the narrator in Civilisation: Beyond Earth.
Finally, Scott Ryder, who is the father of both protagonists, is voiced by Tom Taylor, who previously appeared as Octodad in Octodad: Deadliest Catch. The elder Ryder is also an N7, as was the case with Commander Shepard in the original trilogy. It should also be noted that regardless of who you decide to play as, the other Ryder sibling will still be involved in the game’s storyline.
Mass Effect Andromeda release date rumored for March 2017
Electronic Arts has confirmed that Mass Effect Andromeda will ship for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in spring 2017. However, according to Dark Horse’s website for the game’s art book companion, Andromeda will launch on March 21, 2017.

Set 600 years after the events of the original trilogy, Mass Effect Andromeda takes place within an entirely new galaxy as players explore with their squad in search of a new home for humanity. The Mako will return to the fold, allowing gamers to investigate uncharted planets, and Mass Effect 2’s Loyalty Missions will also be making a comeback.
The combat system has also been overhauled, featuring destructible environments and more dynamic enemy encounters. Verticality also comes into play this time thanks to Ryder’s jetpack, while the class system of previous games has been removed in favor of a wider skill tree allowing players to select which area to specialise in.
