Assassin’s Creed Unity’s latest trailer introduces us to the PS4 adventure’s main troupe, including protagonist Arno Dorian.
Arno, played by relative newcomer Dan Jeannotte, is described as somewhat self-serving, a “young punk,” at the game’s outset. By association with the Brotherhood of Assassin’s, he finds himself embroiled in the French Revolution and the larger things at stake.
His childhood friend Élise, via French actress Catherine Bérubé, develops into a romantic interest and foil, given her unyielding determination to avenge her father’s death, no matter the cost.
We get exposition on a few other characters, including Napoleon Bonaparte and Maximilien de Robespierre, a likely antagonist and instigator of the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror, a period of mass execution by guillotine.
