Gory stab-‘em-up Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be supported by a significant chunk of post-launch content, developer Platinum Games has revealed.
News comes during a GTTV roundtable from E3 2012, where producer Yuji Kurekado confirmed that DLC is likely to include extra goodies such as new playable characters and missions.
“We do have plans for some download content after the release from the game that will allow you to play maybe as a different character or some new missions,” said Kurekado-san.
“We don’t have any plans for competitive online play or anything like that,” he added.
Metal Gear Rising stars silver-haired ninja Raiden as he stylishly slices n’ dices his way through unfortunate soldiers and mechs. The game is due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in early 2013.
