Hideo Kojima, creative legend and master conductor of the hype train, is not afraid to raise the curtain on the progress of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. While not as cryptic as we usually expect him to be, he’s still rather selective about what he wants to show, and that’s more than enough to invigorate Metal Gear Solid enthusiasts.
Next in line are a series of screenshots Kojima tweeted showcasing the PlayStation 4 version of Ground Zeroes running on the PlayStation Vita via remote play. The images can be found below.
These screenshots certainly prove that Ground Zeroes can hold its weight graphically on the Vita, although its not gameplay in motion. This is looking to be a solid step forward for Snake, and Kojima is keen on expressing his confidence with the game and the hardware it’s running on.
It’s also worth noting that features like remote play could bring life to the often "doom-and-gloomed" Vita and hopefully draw it closer to the limelight. To see games like The Last of Us running on the Vita through PlayStation Cloud alongside future PS4 games like Ground Zeroes may prove to be a luring attraction for recent naysayers.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is scheduled to release on March 18 in North America and on March 20 in Europe and Japan.
