In the midst of a special Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain review event in Japan, it appears the full map of one of the areas in the game has been leaked online.
Courtesy of Famitsu, a leaked image shows the huge area of one of the game’s locations, Northern Kabul, Afghanistan. Rather than show the image here, and risk spoiling it for those who want to keep everything a surprise, check out the link at the bottom of this article to view the map in full…it’s huge!
Despite the size of the map, and more locations due to be revealed, it seems surprising that the file size of the PS4 version of Metal Gear Solid 5 seems quite small compared to other major titles. While other popular games, such as Batman: Arkham Knight and God Of War 3 Remastered boast file sizes in excess of 40GB, Metal Gear Solid 5 weighs in at just 25.1GB. Let’s hope rumours aren’t true and size doesn’t matter.
Metal Gear Solid 5 is due to launch on September 1 on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The Windows PC version is due to launch on September 15.
