Konami hasn’t yet announced a release date for Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater, but has given us a glimpse at the game’s title screen to tide us over.
Okay, so it’s not all that exciting, but does set the mood for the game, depicting a lush jungle setting, which of course Snake spends a lot of time crawling through while surreptitiously dispatching foes and snacking down on the local wildlife. You can see it at the end of the video below at approximately 21:17.

Last week it was confirmed that the David Hayter-fronted Legacy video series will feature Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater in a future episode.
Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater is a full remake of 2004’s Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, which is a prequel that takes place in the 1960s and focuses on Naked Snake’s infiltration of a Soviet jungle compound to rescue scientist Nikolai Stepanovich Sokolov and face off against his former mentor.
