Funcom and The Outsiders have announced that Metal: Hellsinger VR will launch for PSVR 2 on October 3, 2024, following a Quest 2, 3 and Pro launch on September 26.
Those who preorder the game will gain access to the Dream of the Beast content, which features two extra songs, a new weapon, and three outfits equipped with passive effects.
Metal Hellsinger VR features a blistering soundtrack composed by musicians from legendary metal acts such as System Of A Down’s Serj Tankian and Trivium’s Matt Heafy. The power of virtual reality brings you closer to the action than never before, with players able to aim freely with an arsenal of powerful weaponry including dual pistols, a crossbow, and even a talkative skull.

Based on the original Metal Hellsinger release for consoles, this VR version completely revamps the rhythm shooter from the ground up for Sony’s latest headset. As such, you’ll be able to sink your teeth into the full campaign, Archdevil difficulty, Torment Challenges, and Beat Assist Mode, all with a VR makeover.
