MGS4 to be PS3 exclusive

From the other side of the world, Famitsu Magazine has published a new short interview with Hideo Kojima giving comments about Metal Gear Solid 4 in its relation to the next generation systems.

Kojima sits down and reveals the reason behind why the PS3 was chosen as the development format for Metal Gear Solid 4. He talks about how The Metal Gear Solid brand has been brought up with Sony hardware, the Sony market, and through the support of Sony, making the PS3 selection a simple one.

Kojima also hints that MGS4 may not limited to the PS3. While Kojima states that the game is, only set for the PS3 at this point, he wouldn't mind porting it to other hardware. He mentioned that if he were making a game for the Revolution or Xbox 360, he'd want to make something completely different from the Metal Gear Solid series; an original title that fits in with the market for those systems.

During his final comments, Kojima praises all the systems and believes each one will offer something different along with many similarities. In Kojima's opinion the PS3 is aiming for a very high visual level. He also praises the Xbox360, stating that he believes many developers will develop for it. Kojima is also excited for the Revolution because he believes that there is a surprise that has yet to be announced.
