Microsoft Exec Confirms Project Latitude Is Not On Pause As It Continues To Bring ‘Content To New Platforms’

Satya Nadella, Chairman and CEO at Microsoft, has revealed in his annual shareholders letter that Project Latitude, which is the Xbox manufacturer’s initiative to bring content to PlayStation and Nintendo platforms, is still very much ongoing, despite murmurs that it was on hold.

Finally, we brought four of our fan-fanvorite titles to Nintendo Switch and Sony PlayStation for the firs time, as we continue to extend our content to new platforms.

Furthermore, speaking on X, Tom Warren had an exchange with someone who suggested that Project Latitude was on pause, to which he responded, “who said they were pausing Project Latitude?”

The next major title set to arrive on the PS5 from a Microsoft studio will be Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which is set to arrive on Sony’s platform in Spring 2025. Interestingly, Microsoft is curious to know why would-be developers decided to choose the PS5 over Xbox, as seen on its official developer’s website.
