Middle-earth Shadow of War has notched up over 1.5 million players worldwide, according to game stats released today by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Monolith.

Shadow of War launched on October 10 and has already seen 3.3 billion Orcs eliminated, which Monolith notes is more than the total active users on the likes of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

In addition, players dominated 193 million Orcs within the game’s first week alone, while 3.65 million betrayals have been logged to date.

Finally, Shadow of War has seen 13.3 million Orcs have been shamed, and players have sieged an impressive 3.46 million forts since the game’s release.

Shadow of War is now available for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. Monolith revealed last week that it will be expanding the endgame offering for the title thanks to the upcoming Slaughter Tribe DLC.

In addition, the developer is also honoring a deceased team member by way of the free Forthog expansion.

Shadow of War came under fire from gamers prior to launch due to the controversial inclusion of microtransactions. Monolith has defended its decision to include the feature, stating it’s for those who are ‘protective of their free time.’
