MK: Arcade Kollection patch due next month

Mortal Kombat maestro Ed Boon has confirmed that the planned patch for Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection will be released early next month.

The retro bundle was plagued by various bugs upon its launch in late August, particularly the online component, which for many was rendered almost unplayable.

However, after promising a patch in September, it now appears the update will finally land around December 6.

But why has it taken so long? Boon explained on Twitter: "Testing, submitting & approvals is a LONG process.”

Of course, the Arcade Kollection has yet to make it to Europe on PlayStation Network, with only the Xbox Live version available in PAL territories. Sony blamed the lack of a PS3 release on a “technical issue.”
