If you play Modern Warfare 2 on PlayStation 3 or PC, you’ll soon have access to DLC that was once exclusive to Xbox 360. The Stimulus Package DLC, which was a timed exclusive for Microsoft, was confirmed for a May 4 release on PS3 in North America, globally on May 5. The DLC will hit PC on May 4.
The release date for PS3 and PC was confirmed by Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling, via Twitter. We expect the DLC will be downloaded quite a bit on the PS3. It has already been downloaded some 2.5 million times on XBL. The DLC ran for $15 USD on XBL, so you should expect it to be comparable in price on PSN.
