ModNation Racers is headed to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation portable on May 25, Sony announced today. The game will feature the Play, Create and Share movement, made popular by Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet. Look for ModNation Racers to feature up to four-player split-screen go-kart-style racing.
Some of your favorite PlayStation characters are headed to the game, as well. Both Ratchet and Clank will make an appearance, along with Nathan Drake and Kratos. Of course, these characters are available for those who pre-order the game. If you pre-order the game from GameStop, you’ll land Kratos and his Kart of Chaos. Amazon pre-orders will give you Ratchet or Clank, while Best Buy is offering Nathan Drake and his Jungle Jeep.
Beyond that, all pre-orders will get a bonus mystery mod and kart package that includes a special mod and kart, plus accessories to help you make your own creation. Sony will reveal the four variations available in this mystery package on the PlayStation Blog.
