Capcom’s announced that it has shipped a staggering four million copies of Monster Hunter: Freedom 3 in Japan.
The portable monster mash hit stores in The Land of the Rising Sun at the beginning of December, topping the charts in the process and remaining there ever since. Life-to-date sales of the mammoth franchise now stand at 17 million units worldwide.
Unfortunately, Capcom has yet to roll out plans for a western conversion, though we expect the game to make the jump to the U.S. and Europe at some point later this year. Stay tuned.
