Monster Hunter Wilds PS5 Pro Includes 3 Graphics Settings, Including 30 FPS Ray Tracing & 60 FPS Upscaled 4K Modes

Capcom has revealed during its Monster Hunter Wilds event overnight that the game will support three graphics modes for PS5 Pro users, allowing players to prioritise resolution or frame rate depending on their preferences.

First up is the Ray Tracing Mode, which runs Monster Hunter Wilds at 4K (3072 x 1728) at 30 FPS, while the Performance Mode prioritises frame rate, with the game running at 60 FPS at upscaled 4K resolution. Finally, Balance Mode offers something in between, offering 40 FPS with upscaled 4K resolution and Ray Tracing. As with many PS5 Pro games, it features support for PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR).

As previously reported, Capcom also revealed that a second Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta will kick off this week, which will include a brand new hunt for players to tackle.

Monster Hunter Wilds is pencilled in for a February 28, 2025 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
