Capcom has announced a December 16, 2025 release date for Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4, which will bring a wealth of new content to the table for fans to tuck into.
One of the main features of Monster Hunter Wilds Update 4 is the Elder Dragon: Gogmazios, which is available after completing the A First Cry main mission. Up to four hunters are able to team up to take down Gogmazios alongside Nadia and Fabius. Meanwhile, players will be able to upgrade their Rarity 8 Artian Weapons into Gogma Artian Weapons, using materials obtained from the creature.

Amor Transcendence is also available with the new update, allowing hunters at HR 100+ to upgrade their armour further, raising the limits imposed on Armor Sphere upgrades and enhances the decoration slots of rarity five and six armour. Players will also be able to square off against the Arch-Tempered Jin Dahaad, with new permanent quests being added December 24, 2025 and new free challenge quests coming for a limited time from January 7, 2026.
Beyond that, Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4 implements new support hunters, with Nadia, who wields a light bowgun, offering support against Gogmazios. Meanwhile, the sword-wielding Griffin from Ferrum Unit and Nightmist, who hails from Aurora Unit and is equipped with a light bowgun, will also give you a helping hand.
