Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault has been revealed as part of the PC Gaming 2024 Showcase, from developer Digital Sun and publisher 11 bit Studios.
The sequel to the shopkeeping rougelike puts players back in the shoes of Will, as you work towards your dreams of being as rich as possible, showing just how far you’ll go to achieve that through the action-packed moments the series is known for.
There’s no exact release date yet for the coming sequel, all we know for now is that it’ll be arriving on PS5 sometime in 2025.

The original Moonlighter arrived back in 2018, which makes it a solid seven years of development time between the original’s launch and this coming sequel.
Moonlighter 2 will also feature the calmer moments the first game is known for, where you’ll run your shop and arrange the priceless items you risked your life collecting tastefully, in the hopes of luring in paying customers.
All in all Moonlighter 2 looks like it’s much, much more of what players loved in the first game. It’ll be interesting to see if it hits just as hard as it all did the first time around when Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault arrives sometime next year.
