Mortal Kombat 1 Season 4 And Peacemaker Will Arrive In The New Era At The End Of February

Mortal Kombat 1 will get it’s upcoming Season 4 update and the arrival of previously announced DLC character Peacemaker at the end of February, it’s been announced.

Warner Bros. Games announced the news through its official Twitter account on Monday, revealing Peacemaker will arrive to early access players on February 28, 2024 and the season arriving around the same time.

It ended off by saying that we’ll hear more about both Peacemaker and the new seasonal update closer to the release date later in the month.

“Peacemaker is preparing for his arrival in the New Era. Early access will be available on February 28, along with the arrival of the new season around the same time.

Details on both will be coming later this month.”

Interestingly, this release window appears to be a delay, compared to when players suspected it would originally release. Still, it’s better to have had some communication on the matter, even if WB doesn’t call it a delay.

Peacemaker will be the third non-Kameo roster addition from the list of fights announced in the DLC. Still to come are fighters like Homelander, Ermac, and Takeda Takahashi.

The initial roster of DLC characters should be wrapped up by Summer 2024, according to NetherRealm’s current timeline. Which means we should hear more about the next batch of characters to come soon as well.

With how Mortal Kombat 1 sets up huge potential for DLC characters, it’ll be interesting to see where the studio goes.
