Mortal Kombat XL Edition coming to PS4, features all DLC

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced the release of Mortal Kombat XL for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Due out in Europe on March 4, 2016, the XL edition of the critically acclaimed fighting game includes the full version of NetherRealm’s title, in addition to all previously releaseld DLC (Goro, Brazil Skin Pack, Kold War Skin Pack and Kold War Scorpion Skin) plus the upcoming Kombat Pack 2.

For those unaware, the Kombat Pack 2 features new playable characters in the shape of the Xenomorph from the Alien film franchise and the iconic Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It also throws in the never-before-seen Apocalypse Skin Pack. 

If that wasn’t enough, the XL Edition also includes Kombat Pack 1, which features Predator, Jason Voorhees, Tremor and Tanya, plus the Samurai Skin Pack. Check out a trailer below.

Mortal Kombat X was released in April 2015 for PS4 and Xbox One, and as of October last year sold over five million copies worldwide. The game takes place two years after the defeat of Shao Kahn, and reunites numerous Earthrealm warriors in a battle against Shinnok, who attacks from the Netherrealm with an army of demonic warriors.
