English band Muse is huge everywhere else but the States. The band is so big that eccentric frontman Matt Bellamy will lend his likeness to Guitar Hero 5. At launch, the track Plug in Baby from Muse’s 2001 Origin of Symmetry will be playable.
Bellamy has a heck of a voice, especially when he goes falsetto. His guitar work is also very recognizable, and you can expect quite a challenge with any Muse tracks.
Here’s a video of in-game footage featuring Bellamy. It’s interesting to see how they adapted his wild on-stage flailing to the game. The game is scheduled to come out in September for the PlayStation 3, PS2, Wii, and Xbox 360.
