Namco has lifted the wraps off the first batch of downloadable content characters for Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
The extra fighters will be made available free to those who pre-order the brawler prior to its home console launch in September, and include old favorites Michelle Chang, Ogre, Angel and Kunimitsu. However, Namco plans on making them available to all players for free down the line.
Unfortunately, fans erroneously believed the DLC to be paid, and promptly flocked to Twitter to take it up with Tekken series boss Katsuhiro Harada.
He replied: "Just because it’s DLC doesn’t mean it’s paid DLC. U GUYS ALWAYS JUMPING THE GUN THANK U SO MUCH."
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
