Hero Adjustments

I. Yueshan

1. ‘Scorching Dash’ now has a longer reach, shortened recovery frames, and offers 70% Damage Reduction while in use.

2. Adjustments to the Skill [Scorching Dash: Weaken]:

(1) Increased the leaping distance, allowing Yueshan to release it towards the crosshair while moving across the terrain.

(2) Added an auto-aim effect to this Skill that triggers when enemies are nearby, making it easier to hit them.

(3) Enemies directly in front of Yueshan are now repelled for a slight distance while with a longer stagger duration; other enemies are repelled further with a shorter stagger duration and have their Attack reduced by 40%.

//Dev Note: Previously, when [Scorching Dash: Weaken] hit an enemy, players had to perform a dodge first to continue attacking. We adjusted the knockback distance for enemies hit head-on to make it easy for Yueshan to continue attacking. The Attack reduction effect brought by [Terror] seemed redundant during Yueshan’s active combos, so we separated the more combo-focused effect from the defensive effect.

3. Optimizations to the execution move of the Ultimate [General’s Call]:

(1) Significantly reduced the knockback distance of the execution move, making the follow-up exclusive charged attack (Dragontail) easier to hit enemies.

(2) Made horizontal strikes unable to interrupt the execution move, reducing the likelihood of issues occurring while unleashing it.

//Dev Note: When Yueshan successfully executes an enemy, terrain or other enemies sometimes may obstruct Dragontail from hitting the enemy being executed. To address this, we reduced the knockback distance of the first strike.

4. Removed the Skill variant [Scorching Dash: Stun].

5. Removed the Ultimate variant [General’s Call: Leaping Strike].

II. Lyam Liu

1. Adjusted the values of the flash move [Auric Sword] in the Ultimate [Metal Fusion]: Increased the damage multiplier from 0.75 to 1.0 for each strike; Reduced the healing multiplier from 0.75 to 0.5 for each strike.

2. Reduced the Rage cost of Lyam’s Ultimate [Metal Fusion] derived skill [Auric Sword] in Solo mode from 30% to 20%. This means [Auric Sword] can be cast 3 times instead of 2 times by default now, the same as in Duos and Trios.

3. Granted a 70% damage reduction effect during the 0.4-second startup frames for [Auric Sword] and [Auric Core].

//Dev Note: We have increased the benefits of using [Auric Sword] offensively and further reduced the costs for casting [Auric Sword] and [Auric Core].

III. Shayol Wei

Reduced the stagger duration inflicted on enemies by Shayol’s Ultimate [Justiciar’s Guard: Pursuit]’s counterattack

In-game Adjustments

I. Gameplay Adjustments

1. Adjustments to Yang Pass:

(1) Each Gate of Yang will now grant only one Yang Pass. However, after the Realm of Yang opens, if there are any unclaimed Yang Passes, players can enter the Realm of Yang via a Gate of Yang before all the Yang Passes have been claimed.

(2) When a team holding a Yang Pass goes too far from a Gate of Yang, the Yang Pass will be reassigned to the player who is nearest to the team and is within the Gate of Yang’s area.

(3) Gates of Yang will now spawn at a random location within their Spawn Zones, rather than at a fixed central point.

(4) The size of the area within which you can hold on to your Yang Pass has been increased.

//Dev Note: We hope that the adjustments to the Yang Pass will inspire more strategic thinking from players. We will continue to monitor and optimize these adjustments based on in-game situations in future versions of our game.

II. Feature Optimizations

The duration of the mark automatically left on your Remains after you die has been reduced to 2 minutes. If not manually canceled, these markers will automatically disappear after 2 minutes.

III. Hot Potato Counter

1. Adjustments to [Hot Potato Counter: Fight Together] Rules:

(1) The field is divided into inner and outer circles, with all players starting each round in the inner circle.

(2) When defeated in the inner circle, players are teleported to the outer circle. Outer circle players who successfully defeat an inner circle enemy or assist in doing so will return to the inner circle.

(3) Inner circle players can only pass the Hot Potato to teammates in the outer circle and cannot lock on to outer circle enemies. Outer circle players cannot hit or pass the Hot Potato to each other.

(4) Defeating all enemies in the inner circle wins the current round. Win the target number of rounds to claim victory.

2. Introduced weapons [Katana] and [Nunchucks] in the Exquisite Vessel, along with Souljades [Hot Potato·Soul Slash] and [Hot Potato·Velocity Untold].

3. Added a new selectable hero [Feria Shen].

//Dev Notes: In the Fight Together mode, we want defeated players to still have the opportunity to contribute. Even if you’re taken down, you can still return to the inner circle by working with your teammates.

Showdown Adjustments

I. Combat Adjustments

1. Yueshan

Adjusted [Scorching Dash: Showdown]’s leaping effect so that it can now be aimed towards the crosshair, enabling Yueshan to traverse the terrain. The pulling effect has been optimized, with hit effects remaining unchanged.

II. Function Adjustments

1. Souljade Recommendation Optimization

The Souljade recommendations are now divided into two sections for improved clarity and ease of access: Recommended and Player Favorites.
Recommended: Souljade sets are suggested based on the player’s current stage progress.
Player Favorites: Offers builds based on the Souljade sets used by players who successfully completed the Enigma Domain. The three most frequently used sets will be displayed.
All recommended Souljade sets now include Elemental Attributes, offering a deeper level of gameplay customization.

2. Optimized the layout of the enhancement selection page and the enhancement recommendations in Yama’s Abyss.

3. Adjusted the requirements for completing the Hero Badge [Snow-tipped Blades·Citrine] to: complete any four difficulty levels of [Gelid Yushan].

Feature Optimizations

I. Client

Significantly increased the download speed for the client and patches from the official website.

II. Weapon Skin Effect

Optimized the sound effects preview for weapon skins in the Shop, Treasures, and other out-game interfaces.

III. PlayStation 5-related Performance Optimization

1. Added FSR2 Graphic Enhancement Options for PlayStation 5.

AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 2.0 is a cutting-edge temporal upscaling algorithm that produces high resolution frames from lower resolution inputs.

This feature can be activated in Settings -> Graphics.
