Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann has taken to Twitter to thank fans for their patience in wake of the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End delay.
While the hotly anticipated PlayStation 4 sequel has been pushed back a further two weeks, resulting in it now coming out in May 10, Druckmann assures fans that they won’t be disappointed in Nate’s final adventure.
This’ll make for a smooth worldwide launch. Thanks for your patience… It’ll be worth it at the end. Promise. https://t.co/UZwCjFEDIW

Uncharted 4’s delay is a result of Sony wanting to have more time to manufacture extra copies of the disc so that it meets consumer demand. The game has suffered multiple delays in the past; it was originally due out in 2015, before being pushed to March 18, 2016 and then again to late April.
Set a few years after the events of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, Naughty Dog’s latest effort sees the Nate teaming up with his long-lost brother, Sam (voiced by Troy Baker), as the pair hunt down a legendary pirate’s treasure in Madagascar.
