Electronic Arts has released the official launch trailer for its upcoming adrenaline-fueled PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One racer, Need for Speed.
Check it out below.
Need for Speed is due out on November 3 and has been confirmed to run at 30fps on both Sony and Microsoft’s current-generation consoles. Developed by Ghost Games, Need for Speed is considered a reboot of the venerable street racing franchise, and takes place in the fictional city of Ventura Bay, a U.S. metropolis based on Los Angeles. In total, Need for Speed will feature 51 customisable vehicles, and five gameplay modes: Speed, Style, Crew, Build, and Outlaw.
Unlike most modern video games, Need for Speed will not feature microtransactions or any paid downloadable content. It will, however, require an online connection to play, marking the first title in the series that needs players to remain connected to the Internet in order to enjoy the game.
