Electronic Arts has lifted the curtains on Need for Speed: The Run’s main cast, confirming the Black Box-developed racer will feature Christina Hendricks as the player character’s love interest.
Hendricks, who is probably best known for her role in AMC’s Mad Men, will play Sam Harper and girlfriend to main protagonist Jack Rourke.
Rourke himself is played by Sean Farris, who took on the role of Kyo Kusanagi in the film adaptation of The King of Fighters, and recently made a guest appearance in The Vampire Diaries.
Need for Speed: The Run’s core driving sections will be punctuated by QTE-centric chase sequences that take players outside of their vehicle. Cut-scenes also crop up from time to time to advance the game’s story.
The racer is due out in the U.S. on November 15, followed by a European release on November 18.
