Devil May Cry has been renewed for a third and final season at Netflix.
Speaking on the news, showrunner Ali Shankar commented:

Devil May Cry launched in 2025 and received its second season last month. The series features Johnny Yong Bosch as Dante, Robbie Daymond as Vergil, and Scout Taylor-Compton as Lady. The show follows Dante, who is being hunted by the Dark Realm Command government organisation, as he comes up against a terrorist known as the White Rabbit, who is looking to extract revenge. on the human race.
Capcom launched the original Devil May Cry in 2001 for the PS2, and the game actually began life as one of the earliest builds of Resident Evil 4 before becoming its own IP. Devil May Cry 2 followed in 2003, while prequel, Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening, arrived in 2006. Devil May Cry 4 brought the series to PS3 for the first time in 2008, and in 2013 the series was rebooted by Ninja Theory with DmC: Devil May Cry before returning to Capcom for 2019’s Devil May Cry 5.
