Early last month, Koei Tecmo announced a new Attack on Titan game was in development by Dynasty Warriors developer Omega Force for lead platform PS4, as well as PS3 and PS Vita. A new trailer released just in time for Tokyo Game Show 2015 gives a first glimpse at the gameplay and boy, does it look slick.
Right off the bat, you’ll notice the visuals stay impressively faithful to the style established in the anime TV show.The Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear grappling traversal looks exhilarating and satisfyingly fluid and same goes for the combat. Let’s hope it plays that well and Koei Tecmo may have one of the best games adapted from an anime or manga on their hands.
The Attack on Titan game is set to launch sometime in 2016 for North America, Europe, and Japan. Check out screenshots and gameplay details here.
