Today we’re sharing another mitigation technique from our toolbox: Disarm. Like the name implies, when cheaters are detected, we simply take their weapons away from them (including their fists).

The publishing giant also revealed that it has issued over 180,000 bans across both game since its last update in April.

Activision will release the next entry in its first-person shooter franchise, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, in October 2022 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
