Bethesda has unleashed a grisly new campaign trailer for its hotly anticipated PlayStation 4 shooter, DOOM.

DOOM is scheduled for release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One worldwide on May 13, 2016. The game will also receive a premium Collector’s Edition, which features an exclusive metal case and 12” Revenant figurine.
Developed by id Software, DOOM is the latest entry in the venerable first-person shooter franchise that defined the genre back in the 90s. Gamers can expect a host of classic enemies and weapons to return for this modern update, including the BFG and Super Shotgun among others.
The game was originally announced back in 2008 as DOOM 4, although was plagued by various creative issues during development. DOOM 4 was initially planned to ship for PS3 and Xbox 360. After a number of years without any major updates on the project, Bethesda re-revealed the title in 2014 as DOOM for current-generation consoles.
