The latest Dragon Quest Heroes trailer reveals that free DLC featuring various villains from the series will be available post-release.
There are no firm details on exactly which characters will be included in the free content, but judging by the trailer we can spot Zoma from Dragon Quest III, Nokturnus from Dragon Quest IX and Psaro the Manslayer from Dragon Quest IV.
The Dynasty Warriors-style, hack-and-slash game is in development by Omega Force and will be published by Square Enix, and is the first next-gen appearance of the Dragon Quest franchise, which started off life as an NES-exclusive.

Due for release on PS3 and PS4 in Japan on February 26, Dragon Quest Heroes is expected to launch in the West at some point, though no launch date has been confirmed.
