Sony kicked off its E3 2016 press conference today with an announcement of a new God of War title for PlayStation 4.
The format holder showcased a lengthy stage demo of the upcoming action-adventure title, which depicts a bearded Kratos embarking on a hunt in the forest with his son. However, it’s not long before the duo is ambushed by a group of blood-thirsty creatures, with Kratos taking up arms to defend his pint-sized companion.
There’s more emphasis on scale this time around by the look of things, with Kratos able to explore a large world as he ventures through the forest. The whole game appears to be inspired by Norse mythology, as previously rumored. It also appears that the son will be playable too.
Right now the game is just named God of War. Stay tuned to to PSU for more details.
