Rockstar New England – the subsidiary of Rockstar Games – has sparked rumours that a next-generation title announcement is imminent by listing several new job opportunities on its official website.
The career opportunities, ranging from graphics programmer to animator, ask for preferable experience in working with next-generation consoles, in order to ‘’help us [Rockstar] extend the capabilities of our game engine and develop exciting visuals for Rockstar’s next big title.’’
Speculation is rife as to what is up Rockstar’s sleeves following the rumours that a sequel to the widely-successful Red Dead Redemption was being prepped for a reveal. Failing that, an entirely new IP could be on the way at some point this year – or even a sequel to the ever-popular Canis Canem Edit.
