Square Enix has released a couple of new screenshots for Kingdom Hearts IV following yesterday’s reassurance that the game is still in production, after news broke that Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link had been cancelled.
The Final Fantasy publisher followed up this message with a second post, in which it acknowledges that fans are excited about the game and more info will be shared soon enough.
We’ve seen how excited you are, and we are truly grateful from the bottom of our hearts. We are equally excited and can’t wait to share more about Kingdom Hearts IV when the time is right. Until then, we appreciate your patience. Thank you for your continued support.

This is the first major update for Kingdom Hearts IV in a long time, as we haven’t heard much of anything since the game’s official reveal during the series’ 20th anniversary celebrations back in 2022. A release date for Kingdom Hearts IV has still yet to be announced.
