Dragami Games has announced that the new Lollipop Chainsaw game will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show later this month at the SEGA and Atlus booth.
Folk who are able to play the demo will be able to grab an original keychain, and all booth visitors will receive a logo sticker while supplies last. In addition, PeachMilky, the official Lollipop Chainsaw ambassador and cosplayer, will be at the booth kitted out in full Juliet Starling costume. TGS 26 will also play host to a Lollipop Chainsaw New Project Main Stage Event, which takes place on September 19 from 9.40 — 10.30 JST.
Lollipop Chainsaw became a global hit with its previous installment. The event kicked off with a promotional video showcasing the game’s world and appeal, followed by a cosplayer dressed as the main character appearing on stage with a real-size replica of the weapon. Additionally, the intellectual property producer and representatives from the development team—including the game’s director, Mr. Nasu, and Mr. Tabata, CEO of JP Univers—took the stage to highlight the new game’s appeal. There will also be a major announcement regarding the new project!?
The original Lollipop Chainsaw was released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in June 2012 and became something of a cult classic over the years, and was remastered in 2024 for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S as Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP. The new Lollipop Chainsaw has yet to confirm available platforms and a release date, but we may find out more at TGS.
