2K has released a new Mafia 3 trailer introducing players to the character of Thomas Burke, an Irish gangster who brushes shoulders with protagonist Lincoln Clay during the upcoming mobster-’em-up.
The video establishes Burke and Clay’s relationship as it appears the pair have teamed up to overthrow the Marcano family in the game’s fictional setting of New Bordeaux. Have a butcher’s at the trailer below.

Mafia 3 is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in October 2016. The game is being developed by Hangar 13, and sees players stepping into the role of the aforementioned Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam War veteran who returns home from his tour of duty to rejoin the Black Mob.
Upon doing so however, Clay’s mobster buddies are wiped out by rival Italian gangsters, resulting in Clay establishing his own criminal empire to extract his revenge. The game’s expansive open-world is based on real-life New Orleans in the 1960s.
