New Max Payne 3 DLC out in August; and it’s free

Rockstar has released an update for its DLC plans for Max Payne 3.

Throughout the summer and autumn, Rockstar is releasing one free DLC pack, titled Disorganised Crime Pack, as well as consolidating the content from the other five packs into three larger packs.

In addition, content from the recently announced New York Minute Co-Op Pack and Trickle Down Economics Map Pack is now being spread across these releases.

The content that was originally planned to be released as New York Minute Co-Op Pack has been integrated into the Deathmatch Made In Heaven Pack. For anyone who has already purchased the Max Payne 3 Rockstar Pass, you will obtain this DLC at a 35 percent discount over purchasing them all individually. For anyone who hasn’t bought the Pass, pricing and release dates are as follows:

Disorganised Crime Pack: August [FREE]
Hostage Negotiation Map Pack: September [$9.99]
Painful Memories Map Pack: October [$9.99]
Deathmatch Made In Heaven Mode Pack: October [$9.99]

The Disorganised Crime Pack allows you to engage in battle above the streets surrounding Max’s old apartment in the new Hoboken Rooftops multiplayer map. There are also several new modifiers for Score Attack in Arcade Mode, such as Explosive Rounds (all bullets explode on impact), Lone Wolf AI (more aggressive enemies) and Headshots Only (fairly self-explanatory).
