Sony has announced that it will be fleshing out the PlayStation App with a variety of new features, including the ability to use the app to join a PS5 multiplayer match. The news comes following confirmation of a new PS5 update for April, which adds some much-requested content.
In addition to using the PS App to join multiplayer games for Sony’s new console, you’ll also be able to manage your PS5 storage, compare Trophies with your mates, and sort and filter products displayed on the PlayStation Store. If you haven’t got it yet, the PS App is free to download.
This is obviously going to be a major step forward for the PlayStation App, further integrating it into the PS5 ecosystem.
