Sony has today revealed the new PlayStation Card which will reward you for making various purchases on the PlayStation Store, at Sony stores, and even at restaurants.
Developed in conjunction with Capital One, the Visa credit card works just like a regular credit card, except that you rack up points that can then be redeemed for PlayStation games, accessories and even content on the PlayStation Network. See below for a breakdown of how the points work.
– 10X points on all PSN purchases (movies/TV included)
– 3X points on ALL PlayStation and Sony purchases at Sony stores and Sony.com
– 3X points at quick service restaurants, at movie theaters, and on your mobile phone bill
– 1X points on ALL other purchases
Sony is also offering a free $50 on the PlayStation Network after your first purchase using the card. If you’re interested, find more info on how to apply for the card here.
