New PlayStation game releases; November 11, 2014

Got some cash handy? Itching for a new gaming experience? Then you’re in the right place, old chap. It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for another slew of new PlayStation game releases across North America. 

Here’s what you can look forward to in the world of PlayStation for November 11, 2014.

PS4 Games

Assassin’s Creed Unity (Digital/Retail release)

Built from the ground-up for next-generation video game consoles, Assassin’s Creed Unity takes place during the French Revolution, and stars series newcomer, Arno. With a completely revamped parkour and combat system, Unity marks a significant turning point for the multi-million selling stealth-action franchise, and offers a massive open-world Paris to explore, ripe with side missions and quests to tackle. Furthermore, co-op is introduced for the first time in the series, allowing you to team up with fellow assassins to combat the templar menace.

Terraria: PS4 Edition (Digital release)

This enhanced version of the original PS3 Terraria is packed full of new content—so much so, that it’s actually almost triple the size of its PS3 counterpart. All in all, players can look forward to over 1,000 fresh items to get their mitts on, such as new types for ore, wood, bricks, wing types, plus additional boss battles, NPCs, and more than 100 new enemies to battle. 

Nano Assault NEO-X (Digital)

This twin-stick blaster sees gamers traversing a microscopic world as they attempt to put a stop to a deadly virus from infecting the nano cosmos. 

 

PS3 Game

Assassin’s Creed Rogue (Digital/Retail release)

The first of two new Assassin’s Creed games for 2014 is Assassin’s Creed Rogue, an all-new adventure that continues the story arc of the Kenway family, which started in 2012’s Assassin’s Creed III. This time around, gamers control assassin-turned-templar, Shay Patrick Cormac, who finds himself waging war on sea and land in the midst of the French and Indian War in 18th century America. 

Digimon All-Star Rumble (Digital/Retail)

A massive cast of characters from the Digimon world come together for an epic punch-up set across vibrant 3D battlegrounds. 

 

PS Vita

Get Off My Lawn! (Digital)

What happens when curious aliens land on earth, waking a grumpy old man from his afternoon slumber? Get Off My Lawn should give you a good idea. Feeling cranky at the extraterrestrial visitors from waking him up, Murray Mendelson arms himself with his trusty musket and kicks off a full-scale war with the aliens in an effort to defend his home. 

Ring Run Circus (Digital)

This unique puzzles sees players controlling a trio of acrobats as they scale a vibrant world of connected circus rings, with over 50 different skill-based puzzles to conquer. 

Senran Kagura: Bon Appettie! (Digital)

Many speak of it, but few have ever tasted it… the pinnacle of culinary perfection… the Super Dish. Legendary shinobi and sushi chef Hanzo holds a contest to see which of the girls can hone her shinobi arts best for cooking instead of combat. The one who presents the greatest Super Dish will obtain a Super-Secret Ninja Art Scroll that will grant her most fervent desire.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham (Digital/Retail)

Gotham’s legendary Dark Knight returns for yet another LEGO-infused adventure, this time teaming up with a series of other iconic DC superheroes to put a stop to the evil Brainiac’s plans to destroy the Earth. 

Retro City Rampage: DX (Digital, Cross-Buy)

The retro-fused car-jacker returns in deluxe form featuring a plethora of new content, including Story and Arcade Modes, plus a fully interactive city packed full of mini-games, shops, and collectibles.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 (Digital/Retail)

Konami’s annual footie franchise makes a triumphant return this year, featuring revamped gameplay mechanics affording an unprecedented level of control over players and, most importantly, the ball.
