New Rainbow Six Siege Season Pass rumored

Ubisoft is reportedly planning a second Season Pass for its squad-based shooter, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.

Murmurs of another pass surfaced on Reddit (via GameSpot), where the French videogame giant quizzed users on a survey as to what items they would like to see featured in “the future season pass.” The comments come as Rainbow Six Siege is about to celebrate its one-year anniversary.

The prospect of a new season pass for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One shooter isn’t that much of a surprise, considering the original one was only set to include content for the game’s first year on sale. As such, there’s no reason why Ubisoft can’t pump out another pass to see the game into its second year on the market.

In terms of possible content, the survey hints at various new items such as an exclusively monthly skin, new uniforms, plus heaps more customisation items. Keeping in line with Ubisoft’s earlier pledge prior to Siege’s launch, we can probably expect new maps to continue to be released free of charge.
