Capcom has released a new Resident Evil Requiem trailer during State of Play yesterday evening, offering a more detailed look at the return to Raccoon City alongside other key snippets of gameplay and cutscenes.
The trailer is quite heavy on dialogue, and mentions Umbrella’s Curse and the fact six survivors of the incident are now deceased. We also see Leon’s HQ contact, albeit from behind, and it’s very likely to be Sherry Birkin from her voice and appearance. It appears that she and Leon are also suffering from the same mutation, having both survived Raccoon City.
Speaking of the iconic town, we see Leon revisit Raccoon City’s ruins, walking through its desolate streets before opening the doors to the RPD, where we get a quick shot of the now-destroyed lobby.
