New RPG To Be Announced By SEGA At Tokyo Game Show 2021

SEGA has announced that it will lift the wraps off a brand new RPG at the Tokyo Game Show 2021.

The publisher confirmed the news during its livestream schedule for TGS 2021, which takes place on October 1. In addition to the new RPG, SEGA also plans on dropping info on Atlus titles, although at this point it’s probably worth mentioning that a new Persona game is unlikely at this point given the way the description is worded — see below.

Sega’s game news variety show “Sega Nyu” TGS special program, we will deliver information on the latest titles of Sega and Atlas! We are also planning to announce “SEGA’s new RPG.”

This year’s Tokyo Game Show will be an online-only event due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic (I live for the day when I no longer have to write about COVID-19 as an ongoing crisis), and will also feature the likes of Capcom, Square Enix, and Microsoft.

TGS 2021 will kick off on September 30 with a 50-minute livestream and the event itself will run until October 3.
