At their pre-Tokyo Game Show 2013 press conference, Sony unveiled a new PlayStation Vita model, the PCH-2000.
The new PS Vita is 20% thinner and 15% lighter at 15 millimeters thick and weighs 290 grams. A 1 gigabyte memory card will come bundled with the model. Battery life has been improved as well, with an additional hour of life. The PCH-2000 uses micro-USB port for charging and transferring data.
Several color variants will be available, as seen below.
The slim Vita will launch on October 10 in Japan for the price of 18,980 yen. No release information for other territories is available at this time.
