A new Sonic the Hedgehog game is reportedly set to drop next year, according to a planning document that was shared (and since deleted) on Reddit, with SEGA also set to release DLC for the upcoming Sonic Superstars.
The document, which hasn’t been verified, reveals that the Knuckles TV show will debut in the first quarter of next year, followed Sonic Prime Season 3 in the same period. Beyond that, we also have Sonic Superstars DLC listed as ‘TBD’ as well as a “new game” set for holiday 2024.
The new game also appears to come with a Prologue release of some description, although no further details are available right now. Also mentioned is the third Sonic the Hedgehog movie, which is still scheduled to launch in late 2024.
Sonic Superstars is scheduled for release on October 17, 2023 for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. You can read our full review here.
