Sony has released new gameplay footage of PlayStation VR title Until Dawn: Rush of Blood for your viewing pleasure.
The new video forms part of a series of behind-the-scenes look at the horror title, with key figures at developer Supermassive Games chatting about their latest creation. Fresh gameplay footage is peppered throughout the nattering, which you can see below.
Until Dawn: Rush of Blood is a spin-off entry of 2015’s successful teen horror romp for PlayStation 4, and sees gamers embarking on a spooky roller coaster ride punctuated with all manner of hair-raising hazards, be it Until Dawn’s Psycho or terrifying ghostly figures.

The on-the-rails thriller will take you through a variety of levels, all the while obliging you to blast any incoming dangers.
“When we first started working on Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, we were still in the middle of development on Until Dawn, but it was clear to us that the world and characters we were creating would be perfect to expand into new experiences. As we established compelling gameplay for VR, we were able to combine that with a journey through many familiar aspects of Blackwood Pines, but from a horrifying new perspective!” commented Supermassive Games’ Executive Producer, Simon Harris.
"Playing Until Dawn: Rush of Blood in VR is incredibly different to playing games of a similar genre in the traditional method of sitting in front of a TV screen, so we’re looking forward to seeing how players react!”
Sony announced a PSVR release date of October 13, 2016 during its E3 presentation back in June, with the headset due to be priced at £349/$399 for Europe and the U.S., respectively.
The format holder has said it hopes to have around 50 PSVR games out by the end of the year, with over 230 developers working on titles for the device. Despite the success of the original game, Supermassive Games is not working on Until Dawn 2.
